Santiago, Dominican Republic — El Faro Latino is deeply saddened to announce the passing of renowned journalist, writer, and poet Ramón Esteban Cabral de la Torre, a distinguished scholar and analyst of Dominican Republic history.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with our dear friend and colleague, Ramón Esteban Cabral de la Torre, whom we had the honor of knowing and with whom we shared several consulting projects and a sincere friendship. We wish peace to his soul and strength to his family, to whom we extend our heartfelt embrace of solidarity during these difficult moments,” wrote Esteban Cabrera, director of El Faro Latino, on the newspaper’s official Twitter account.
