Washington. The U.S. Department of Defense on Friday released a second batch of declassified files on unidentified anomalous phenomena, in a new disclosure of documents, videos, and official reports linked to sightings recorded over several decades.
The publication includes 222 files and more than 50 videos related to unidentified aerial phenomena. According to Reuters, the release is part of a U.S. government transparency initiative involving documents that remained under official classification for years.

Among the disclosed materials are reports describing lights, spheres, discs, and objects observed in various military and space-related contexts. One of the most striking documents contains 116 pages detailing 209 sightings recorded near a military installation in Sandia, New Mexico, between 1948 and 1950.
The Department of Defense said its agencies are working on a third release of UAP files, though no date was provided for the next publication.
